Volunteer opportunities available:

We are always in need of willing hands and minds! Here are a few ways you can volunteer with us.

~ Gallery Greeter Greet visitors, give information about exhibits, classes, park, upcoming activities, etc.

~ Docent Lead tours of park, building & nearby area. Training provided.

~ Receptions Attend & enjoy Gallery Openings and other events. Help to provide, set up & clean up light refreshments for events (one small dish of cheese/crackers, cookies/sweets or fresh fruit/veggies per person – all finger food types).

~ Office Assistance Help with typing, answering phone, filing, scheduling, etc. to make sure someone is always here to catch calls and route requests to appropriate person. Computer skills are welcome too!

~ Grounds keeping Help with trash pick up around parking lot, playground and along trails. Weeding gardens and occasionally planting. Pruning, raking and otherwise helping to keep the park looking good.

~ Teach Classes Help with planning, scheduling and teaching. We need teachers for arts, exercises, crafts of all kinds, nature activities, and many other categories for all age groups (what is your specialty?). We have a classroom, patios and the park for classes. Join us.

~ Class/Activities Assistance Help the teachers. Extra hands are always needed for “gofers” and guidance. It is fun too.

~ Occasional Special Projects  Help us to plan our special Festivals, concerts, and other fun and/or Funding events. We can always use fresh new ideas as well as old reliables.

~ Other  There are always needs that arise. Our volunteers are a dedicated group of interesting and interested individuals. Join us!
