Looking for fun activities for the kids during the winter break? Join the Winter Wonders Camp as we examine animal adaptations, winter science and multimedia art forms.
Mid-Winter Recess camp for children in kindergarten through fourth grade will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20, Wednesday, Feb. 22 and Friday, Feb. 24.
Monday, February 20 – Animal Adaptations Naturalist Mark Carra from Beaver Meadows teaches us how animals adapt to their surroundings, using games and observations of real animals.
Wednesday, February 22 - Winter Science Diane Beres makes ice cream in the snow, snow crystals with Epson salts, liquid and bead bracelets and offers other fun activities.
Friday, February 24 – Art in Many Forms Art is more than drawing pictures. We work with clay, make sand paintings and produce collages from a variety of materials.
